The Singapore Zoo, which opened in 1973, is a model of the ‘open zoo’ concept. It allows its residents to roam around in their own "natural" habitat.

Spacious and lush animal enclosures, with moats and rock walls as barriers, offer unimpaired views of the animals which give the visitors the feeling of openness.

Open: 8.30am ~ 6pm daily

Applicable for admission to
- Singapore Zoo, Night Safari, and Jurong Bird Park

2in1 Park Hopper
Applicable for admission to either one of the following
    - Singapore Zoo and Night Safari
    - Night Safari and Jurong Bird Park
    - Jurong Bird Park and Singapore Zoo

Adult	:	$30
Child	:	$15

* Child is defined as 3 - 12 years old

Getting There:

By Car / Taxi

Take the Pan Island Expressway (PIE) towards Jurong and then turn off at the Bukit Timah Expressway (BKE, Exit 7), follow the prominent brown signs to the zoo. It takes approximately 30 minutes to reach Night Safari from city.

By Bus

Take bus no. 171 to Mandai Road and then alight at the first bust stop, transfer to bus no. 927. It takes approximately 1hr 15 minutes to reach Night Safari from city.

By Mass Rapid Transit (MRT)

From Ang Mo Kio MRT Station, take bus no. 138 or at Choa Chu Kang MRT Station, take bus no. 927
It takes approximately 1hr to reach Night Safari.
